Our Flock
We raise a mixed flock of Shetland sheep and fine wool crosses. Our goal is to produce wool with regenerative practices to build healthy soil and provide raw materials for our regional fibershed. Our flock grazes on few day rotation through our pastures in the summer months to reduce parasite loads.
Small Flock Shearing
Melissa is an American Sheep Industry Association-certified shearer, having trained at the Moffat County Shearing School (Craig, CO) and UC Hopland Shearing School (Clearlake Oaks, CA). She supports small flocks in and around southeast Michigan year-round. Please be in touch if interested in shearing services.
